Fraud

Detective Superintendent Eugene Gallagher of the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation will be in studio to discuss some recent fraudulent activities involving Pin Entry Devices (PEDs). We place our credit cards into these devices when buying goods or services. Crimecall will show footage of fraudsters replacing legitimate PEDs with tampered PEDs. Detective Superintendent Gallagher has some advice for businesses to tackle this means of fraud.
