Traffic Management Plan - Spancilhill Fair - Monday 24th June 2024

Location

Spancilhill Fair is an annual event which takes place on the ‘Fair Field’ in June each year.   The location of the Fair is in Spancilhill village which is off the main Ennis to Tulla Rd. [R352]– approximately 7km from Ennis Town.

Paid Car Parking Only

Coming from Ennis: Car Park No. 1  – opposite Duggan’s Pub on the Tulla Rd.

Coming from East Clare: diverted at Norrie Henchy’s left toward  Moyriesk Cross directed to either Green Rd. for trailer vehicles to Spancilhill Fair or ordinary parking to Car Park No. 2 – directed by stewards.

Vehicles with Horse trailers will be directed to Spancilhill Cross for car parks No. 3 & 4.

Coming from Crusheen/Gort direction – Car Park no. 5

Traffic Diversions – Avoiding Spancilhill

Coming From Ennis: No diversion however travel at reduced speed in the vicinity of Spancilhill junction along the Tulla Rd.

Coming from East Clare/Tulla direction: All traffic (except busses) diverted at Norrie Henchy’s left toward  Moyriesk Cross directed back toward Ennis – follow diversion route signs.

Coming from Doora Direction to East Clare: Diverted at Moyriesk Cross onto Green Rd. , turn right onto Tulla Rd. towards Clooney village/East Clare.

NO ON ROAD PARKING – Any vehicles found to be parked in contravention of no parking cones will receive Fixed Charge Penalties and/or Towed.
