Strictly No Overnight Camping Permitted Car & Bus Park Will Close After Each Show

IMPORTANT: NO QUEUING ALLOWED PRIOR TO GATES OPENING. Patrons are advised to allow sufficient time to travel to the event and pass through security checks.

There is no pedestrian access to or from the site, please plan your journey accordingly. For public transport please visit buseireann.ie for options from Dublin City Centre & Naas.

THINGS TO KNOW

  • Due to health and safety, there are strictly no camping/ collapsible chairs/stools permitted on site. Please do not bring these items as security will have to refuse you entry with them.
  • Punchestown ‘24 is a standing only venue and all gigs take place outdoors on grass. Please check the forecast and dress accordingly for Irish weather – think wellies, boots or runners, layers, raincoats/ ponchos and sun cream.
  • There are two entry points to the site – the BLUE route is for buses only and the ORANGE route is for cars (inc. taxis) only. Each route will have parking or drop-off options available. Please do not attempt to drop off outside the venue or on nearby roads, as this is dangerous due to no footpaths.
  • There is only one entrance point to the event arena, and it is approx. 300m from bus / car parks & drop- off points.
  • Strict security checks will be in operation. Everyone will be subject to a search permissible under law, per Purchase Policy. It is a condition of entry, to protect everyone’s safety. Additional searches may take place once inside the venue.
  • Patrons are especially advised not to bring large bags/backpacks as they may experience delays or be refused entry. There will be no storage facilities on site. Any items left at entrances/in surrounding areas will be removed and disposed of accordingly.
  • Bags larger than A4, glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares, professional cameras and audio recording equipment will not be permitted, see the full list of prohibited items on www.mcd.ie/prohibited-items
  • Obey the stewards and Gardaí and instructions given over the public address for your own safety.
  • There are no same day re- admissions to the concert. Weekend ticket holders will receive a wristband to return for the Sunday event, but may only enter once per day.
  • Tickets are non-transferable so weekend tickets cannot be used by different people on different days.
  • Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply with these T&Cs, as agreed by customer and per Ticketmaster Purchase Policy.
  • Don’t rush to exit after the concerts.

TRANSPORT

Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance allowing at least an extra 2 hours travel time to and from the venue, as traffic and parking delays are inevitable you are encouraged to use coach and shuttle services available. Promoters do not operate transport to/from venue this is matter for customers to arrange in advance.

Private Coaches should follow the event signage to the bus parks where there will be options to park or drop-off within the site – no advance booking required.

  • By CAR or TAXI: Car parking and car / taxi drop- off points will be available within the site – no advance booking is required.

Please do not park illegally or at any nearby off-site location – there is no pedestrian access to the site. Towing will be in operation.

Car parks will open at 4.30pm each day and close immediately after each show. All vehicles must vacate the site each night. There is strictly no overnight camping permitted – towing will be in operation.

TICKET COLLECTIONS

There will be one box office located by the main entrance to the arena, ahead of the ticket check point. We encourage you

to download your tickets to your phone ahead of the event - don't wait until the day!

AGE RESTRICTIONS

These events are strictly over 16s only.

Strict age monitoring will be in place, and any under 16’s will be refused entry without refund.

ADDITIONAL ACCESSIBLE REQUIREMENTS

We cannot amend or move any ticket bookings, but if you are attending on general admission tickets and would benefit from an accessible accommodation, you can request this here: www.mcd.ie/outdoor-accessibility-requests Please note, all forms close 7 days out from event date.

Accessible ticketholders do not need to contact us. They will be contacted directly regarding accessible parking/ drop-off options. All accessible parking must be arranged in advance.

Punchestown is a residential area, we would appeal to all concert goers to respect the local community by not littering, not engaging in anti-social behaviour and by not parking illegally. Please respect our neighbours. Thank you for your support and enjoy the concert.
