1 in 5 Women are subject to Domestic Violence in Ireland, this short film depicts the all too often tragic consequences of systematic, repetitive Domestic Violence. The film “Change the Conversation” is an uncomfortable reminder of the consequences of domestic violence, it should serve as a reminder to all of the importance of reporting all incidents of domestic violence to An Garda Siochana.

Anyone who may wish to report or discuss an incident of Domestic or Sexual Violence can contact their local Garda Station or for child abuse incidents contact the 24hr dedicated phone line for the reporting of child sexual abuse. The phone line number is 1800 555 222. This confidential free-phone line is manned on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. An Garda Síochána encourages victims of to report any such incident at the earliest opportunity including those incidents of an historical nature.
