Homecoming of the Clare Team to Ennis, Co. Clare - Monday, 22 July 2024

Advice to Public attending the homecoming of the Clare Team at Tim Smythe Park (AKA the Fair Green) in Ennis, Co. Clare is as follows:

Public parking and traffic restrictions will be in place across Ennis from 6pm to 11pm. These restrictions are as follows:

Newbridge Road & Steele’s Terrace will be closed from the Club Bridge to Kelly’s Corner Roundabout
New Road will be closed
Daly Road will be closed
Lifford Road will be reduced to one lane from the Kelly's Corner Roundabout to Tulla Road
Parking for people with disabled passes will be available at the Courthouse car park and the Áras Contae an Chláir car park
There will otherwise be no parking available to the public at the County Council’s car park on New Road and the Courthouse Car Park. Absolutely no parking of any kind is permitted in the St. Joseph’s Hospital Car Park
Traffic delays are expected on all approaches to the centre of Ennis, particularly from the direction of the Tulla Road. Anyone approaching from this direction is advised to seek an alternative route via junction 12 or 14 of the M18 motorway or proceed on foot if possible.
