Concerts at Musgrave Park - 14th to 29th June 2024

There will be 9 concerts at Musgrave Park from 14th to the 29th of June 2024. Our advice to attendees is as follows:  

As traffic and parking delays are inevitable, patrons are encouraged to walk, cycle, use public transport and private coach services. Promoters do not operate transport to and from the venue, this is a matter for attendees to arrange in advance.

Disabled parking ticket holders must approach the venue via Tramore Road and park in the CMP grounds.

Attendees are asked to be mindful of local residents and businesses while coming and going from Musgrave Park.

Road Closures

The following roads will be closed from 4pm each day;

  • Junction of Kinsale Rd and Tramore Road
  • Junction of Kinsale Rd and Pearse Road
  • Junction of Tramore Road and Lower Friars Walk
  • Junction of Pearse Road and Connolly Road
  • Junction of Botanic Road and Tory Top Road
  • Junction of Kent Road and Tory Top Road.

Local access will be maintained throughout the day for residents of these areas.

 

Parking & Drop off Area

Vehicles wishing to drop off people attending the concert should use the designated set down and pick up area on the Tramore Road. You can access the Tramore Road via the Togher Slip Road from the N40 East or West. There is no access to this drop off location from Kinsale Road.

Vehicles leaving the set down area on Tramore Road must take a left onto Lower Friars Walk, then turn left from lower Friars Walk onto Connolly Road and left again at the traffic lights onto Lower Pouladuff Road to return to the N40 East or West.

Parking is available at the following Cork City Council car parks:-

  • Paul Street
  • North Main Street
  • Grand Parade
  • St Finbarr’s Wandsford Quay.
  • City Hall
  • Patricks Quay.

Limited parking will also be available at Blackash Car Park, which is within walking distance of the venue.

 

Transport:

Attendees are encouraged to plan and book return travel arrangements in advance allowing sufficient travel time to and from the venue.

The drop off area for taxis is the green on the left of Curragh Road as you pass the junction of Tory Top Road and Pearse Road. 

Large vehicles such as buses are required to set down and pick up on Curragh Road outside the Cork City Football Club.

Those attending by car can avail of concert parking on Blackash. There are no park & ride services in operation. Parking is free for all attending the concerts, just take a ticket as normal on entry. The Blackash parking facilities will close at 11.30pm.

Bus Eireann run services that will bring you within walking distance of the stadium. The 203 and 213 routes will operate from Cork City Centre and will drop you within walking distance to Musgrave Park.

Irish Rail will be running services to Cork Kent Train Station.

There will be no concert parking or drop off on Connolly Road, Slieve Mish Park or Green Lawn.
