Bloom Festival 2024

General Advice 

There will be no Road or Gate Closures in place for this event.

However, Ashtown Gate shall be entry only in the morning and exit only in the afternoon. This is also a dedicated emergency route, and in the event of an emergency the area between the North Road and Ashtown Gate will be cleared of all traffic and the area shall be sterile for emergency service use only.

Parking 

There are two official car parks for Bloom:

Red Car Park:

Location: off the Odd Lamp Road, Phoenix Park.

Access to the Red Car Park:

Vehicles entering the Phoenix Park via Cabra Gate will be directed right onto the North Road and then to either The Red or Green Car Park depending on availability.  Vehicles entering the Phoenix Park via Parkgate Street or North Circular Road will be directed towards Chesterfield Avenue and at the junction with the Odd Lamp Road, will be directed to the Red Car Park. If the Red Car Park has reached capacity or traffic is backed up on Odd Lamp Road Traffic will divert towards Mountjoy Roundabout and the green car park.

Egress:

Vehicles exiting the Red Car Park will be directed left and right onto the Odd Lamp Road. Traffic exiting left shall at the junction with the North Road will turn right only towards Cabra Gate and North Circular and Parkgate St Gates. Traffic exiting right shall proceed towards the Phoenix Roundabout and exit as normal.

Green Car Park:

Location: off the North Road, Phoenix Park.

Vehicles entering the Phoenix Park via Castleknock Gate will be directed onto the North Road from Mountjoy Cross. At the North Road, vehicles will be directed to one of the entrances to the Green Car Park. The number of entrances to this Car Park has been increased to 4 all beginning from 08.00 each day. 

Egress:

Vehicles exiting the Green Car Park will be directed left onto the North Road and can exit the Phoenix Park via the Ashtown, Castleknock or Knockmaroon Gate.

Patrons are asked to plan their route, avail of public transport, the free shuttle bus and allow extra time to get to the event if travelling by car.
