Freedom of Information (FOI) Decision Logs - 2021

1. The amount spent by AGS for firearms training for members in each of the years 2018, 19 and 20.
2. The number of individual training sessions involved in each of those years
3. The number of individual members who received training in each of those years.

In accordance with Section 7 of the above mentioned Act, I wish to request the following records which I believe to be held by the An Garda Síochána:

1. The number of speeding fines paid by Irish drivers by year.
2. The amount of money paid in settled penalties by year.
3. The data should be organised by each garda division in the country.

This should include all data from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020.

Records of all internal communications related to the release of the video released here https://twitter.com/gardainfo/status/1356554527806259200.  I wish for my request to cover any expenditure on the video as well as records relating to how much staff time was spent making the video. I am especially interested in any record of objections from within An Garda Síochána to making the video for any reason. I wish for my request to cover the period 1/11/2020 to the current date.

I wish to make a request under the Freedom of Information as follows:

1. Number of HEO positions to be filled from this competition,
2. Number of applicants,
3. With reference to the Management Scenario Assessment Test:
a. Number of applicants that scored above 40,
b. Number of applicants that scored 40 to 69 (inclusive),
c. Number of applicants that scored above 70,
4. Number of applicants called to Stage 2 – Determination of Eligibility,
5. Number of applicants called to Stage 3 – Interview,
6. Breakdown by Region if possible.

Under the 2014 FOI act I am requesting the following.

The number of times the garda force has used drones to detect crime in the last four years to 2017.
The number of drones purchased per year and their cost back to 2017
The number of garda trained to use drones in the last four years, broken down by year back to 2017.

In accordance with Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act, I request access to records which are non-personal and which I believe are held by An Garda Siochana.

I request the following records relating to drug driving:

(i) The number of drug driving tests that have been administered on drivers nationwide, broken down by county, since the introduction of drug-driving devices in April 2017, up to and including the date of this request.

(iii) The number of positive drug driving tests nationwide, broken down by county, since the introduction of drug-driving devices in April, up to the date of this request.

(iv) The number of members of An Garda Siochana in total that are stationed in Clare, and the number of those members that are trained in the use of drug driving device equipment in Clare.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I request the following records:

Copies of any and all correspondence sent to An Garda Síochána by Warner Music or any other music publishing company in relation to the use of the song Jerusalema in the Garda Jerusalema Challenge Video since February 1 this year.

Copies of any requests for payments from Warner Music or any other music publishing company for the use of the song Jerusalema since February 1 this year.

I request the following records relating to finance within An Garda Siochana:

(i) The amount of money that has been taken in by An Garda Siochana in Co. Clare as a result of speeding fines in the years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, up to and including the date of this request.

To whom it may concern,

I would like to make a request under the 2014 Freedom of Information Act. I would like to request the total amount spent by An Garda Síochána on HP (Hewlett Packard) products between 2020-2021.

I would also like to request if An Garda Síochána have ever used the Pegasus Spyware which was developed by the NSO Group, and if so, on how many incidences in the two past years.

I would also like to request if An Garda Síochána purchased any equipment from the State of Israel or from Israeli companies between 2019-2021, and a breakdown of these items.

I wish to obtain the following information under the Freedom of Information Act. The information I require concerns the force's mobility project and the rollout of the handheld devices.

Can you provide the following information?

1. How many mobile devices has the force purchased to date and how many are currently in use?
2. How much does each device cost and how much rent is charged by the technology company providing the technology used on each handset?

3. Has the force being paying rental charges on devices which have yet to be distributed? If so, can you provide information on the number of devices which remain unused, how much money has been paid and for how long?

3. Can you provide copies of all reports on how the project has been rolled out and any correspondence on any issues encountered to date.

Under the FOI Act I wish to request the following information:

1. The spending on PredPol or other Predictive Policing software from 2018 - 2021.
2. The spending on Face-in-the-crowd or shape-in-the-crowd biometric technologies from 2018 to 2021.
3. Spending on Big Data Analytics systems from 2018 to 2021.
4. Spending on ANPR in 2021.

I wish to request also the procurement and tender documents for the same.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I wish to seek records of the following:
Meeting minutes, meeting agendas and documents circulated for discussion at the meetings of the Irish Language Policy Implementation Committee from 1.1.2018 to present.
