Freedom of Information (FOI) Decision Logs - 2023

I would like to make a FOI request under the Freedom of Information Act 2014. Under section 7 of this act, I would like access to the records held by An Garda Siochana. The information I am seeking relates the road traffic enforcement fines revenue relating to the R830 Kill Lane, Dublin.

In excel or pdf format, I am seeking the monthly monetary amount of all Fixed Charge Notices issued by An Garda Siochana on this road from 1 November 2022 to 28 February 2023, broken down by offence group (if possible).

I am making a request under the FOI.

If you could look at the video below, I would like the names of all members of Guardai who took part in this dancing and I would also like dates of when each piece of footage was recorded.
I would like to know which jurisdiction/ Guarda station each Garda involved was normally based/ stationed at the time.

I am looking for the number of sworn members of An Garda Síochána (Excluding Garda Staff) who have availed of the counselling services or Inspire Counselling Service for the years 2020, 2021 & 2022. If possible can this be broken into 1) Persona who have attended for these services in person & 2) Telephone Access.

I wish to request parking fine data for the years 2021 and 2022 for the Limerick city area specifically outlining types (parking on footpath, double yellow line, grass margin, handicapped space etc) and their individual percentages of the overall amount of fines. Also, is it possible to view the data for the amount of fines actually paid for in these years.

• Details of maintenance costs in 2023 of the vehicles used to transport members of government
• The mileage and cost of petrol/diesel for those vehicles

I wish to request the following financial information from An Garda Síochána under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 (the "Act"):

• Revenue received from the payment of fixed charge notices and any other fines issued by An Garda Síochána between January 2018 and September 2023 relating to Grange Manor Road and Barton Road East Extension in Rathfarnham, Dublin 14/16.

Under the FOI Act 2014, I am seeking a copy of your organisation's policy regarding the payment of 'ordinary remuneration' to staff while suspended pending the conclusion of disciplinary processes. I am particularly interested in your organisation's policy regarding payment of staff on suspension, as follows:

• Is remuneration paid to staff who are suspended, i.e., is there a continuation of full salary or is their salary reduced?
• If paid full salary, does this include allowances?
• If reduced, does your Department exclude any/all allowances that are normally paid? If so,
• What type of allowances do you continue to pay, and which allowances cease?
• Where staff whose allowances were stopped during suspension, and they subsequently are cleared of all allegations of misconduct are allowances repaid to staff?

In addition to the above, I would appreciate it if you could let me know the number of people suspended, pending the conclusion of disciplinary processes, by your organisation in each year 2020 to 2023 and details as to whether all such individuals received their normal pay, including allowances, during the period of suspension.

I wish to request access to the following records under the Freedom of Information Act:

- records containing details of all expenses, allowances and other costs paid in respect of the Garda band during 2022 and 2023 to date; to include the purpose of the payments and the number of recipients

- records showing details of events and engagements at which the Garda Band performed during 2022 and 2023 to date

I would be most obliged if you can provide me with the procedure for reporting sick and unfit for duty in An Garda Siochana as per the Garda Siochana Code. I am unable to access it online.

I am making a Freedom of Information request for the following records:
• Details of all costs incurred by An Garda Síochána to date in relation to protests at Leinster House, Kildare St, Dublin 2.
• The records should include the dates of the protest that led to An Garda Síochána incurring costs
• The records should also include an itemised breakdown of costs incurred including but not limited to hiring of security infrastructure; plant hire; and copies of all invoices so far received in relation to same.
• The details of the cost of use of Garda aircraft in in relation to protests at Leinster House.
The time period can be limited to 1/1/2023 to 22/11/2023.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2014, I would like to request:

• the number of gardai who resigned from duty in (i) 2022 and (ii) 2023.
• A breakdown of their ages, as follows: (i) under 30, (ii) under 40, (iii) under 50 (iv) under 60 (v) over 60
• I would also like to request a breakdown by gender.
