Freedom of Information (FOI) Decision Logs - 2019

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2014. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible.

I am requesting that you provide me with the following information: all reports made where people have had their drink spiked or report being drugged against their will.
• If held, please state the location of the incident, eg. name of a night club, street name. If in a private home or at a house party, please just state- residential home/ house party. If it is possible, please state the police region that dealt with the report.
• If known, please specify if the victim was sexually assaulted in the event.
• I would like this information to cover the last three years: ie, 2016, 2017 and 2018 and to be broken down by each of these years.
• Additionally, please could you give a numerical overview for all reports of spiked drinks or people being drugged against their will as far back as your records allow. I estimate that this might take it back to the early 2000s. A simple total number for each year will do when answering this part.

I would be grateful if you could provide me the following under the FOI act:

• Number of Irish people accused (i.e. a criminal accusation made) of child abuse (of under 18s) since 1950 (by year)
• The number of Catholic clergy (i.e. a criminal accusation made) accused of child abuse (of under 18s) since 1950 (by year)

Can I have all data relating to assaults on Garda between January 1 2017 and December 31st 2018.

If possible could the data be split into months.

How many pairs of trousers with waist sizes 40 inches or over have been handed out to Garda officers by An Garda Siochana over the past five years?

Can I have this broken down by county please.

Were the trousers issued to male or female officers?

Under Freedom of Information legislation please provide me with a breakdown of Information regarding Garda expenditure on investigating the activities of banks in Ireland in each of the last three years i.e 2016, 2017 and 2018.

1: Cost of fuel for garda vehicles in 2017 & 2018.

2: The types of vehicles used by gardaí. (Makes and models)

1: The number of drink driver caught on Irish roads for 2016, 2017, 2018.
 
2: Age breakdown for each of the arrests (I am looking to find out the youngest and oldest drink driver for each year)

Can I please request all internal reports; memos or briefing documents relating to Garda call-out times, or any internal data on the same.

During the last five years up to 29:08.19, please provide all 12-month records of the number of "hare coursing" incidents reported to An Garda Siochana and any documentation relating to charges or convictions arising out of these please.
I am not seeking any identifying characteristics for victims, perpetrators or Garda members.

I'm looking for information in relation to the policing of e-scooters on Irish roads.  It's my understanding that anyone found to be using an e-scooter  on a public road can be fined, receive penalty points, or have their e-scooter seized.

Between the period of 1/01/2019 and 31/08/2019 -

1) How many fines were issued by Gardaí to citizens using e-scooters on public roads?
2) How many penalty points were issued to citizens for using e-scooters on public roads?
3) How many e-scooters were seized by Gardaí?

I wish to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2014.

I request information on An Garda Siochana's policy on CCTV systems in use by the public whether for their businesses or their homes as follows:

1. I request copies of current An Garda Siochana guidance and policies in respect of the public's use of CCTV systems.

2. I request copies of An Garda Siochana's policies and processes for dealing with complaints from the public about CCTV cameras.

3. What statutory duties does An Garda Siochana have in relation to regulation of CCTV systems?

4. What involvement does An Garda Siochana have in the authorisation of CCTV systems? Please give details of the approval and authorisation process.

5. Does An Garda Siochana have a formal working arrangement with the Data Protection Commission in the regulation of CCTV systems?  If so please provide details.

6. How many complaints have been received by An Garda Siochana from the public about CCTV camera usage to date?

7. I request copies of reports by An Garda Siochana in respect of public use of CCTV systems.

Any documents pertaining to reported racial abuse in Limerick or reported incidents of racism in Limerick in 2019 to this date.

Any documents pertaining to reported racial abuse in Limerick city and county or reported incidents of racism in Limerick city and county in 2018.

Any documents pertaining to reported racial abuse in Limerick city and county or reported incidents of racism in Limerick city and county in 2017.

1) As of 16th October 2019 the number of Garda Horse Box vehicle in use and the age of each vehicle eg there is 4 vehicles in use and one vehicle is 131D, another vehicle is 11D etc etc in the Garda Mounted Unit
2) As of 16 October 2019 the number of Garda vehicles eg vans, trucks etc in use in the Garda Water Unit and the age of each vehicle eg one truck is 162D, one car is 191D and so on
3) As of 16 October 2019 the number of Garda cars and vans in use by Garda Dog Unit and the age of each vehicle eg one car is 171D, one van is 151D and so on

Under the FOI Act, can I please ask how many Freedom of Information requests made to An Garda Siochana were made since the FOI Act was extended to include the Force in October, 2014?

In your reply, can you state how many FOI requests were granted, partially granted and refused, and include a breakdown of who made the requests, ie. journalists, members of the public, former staff members, etc?
