I am seeking a record of the number of gardai suspended from service for disciplinary reasons, as well as records of gardai fully removed from their positions between the dates of January 1, 2017 to April 9th, 2018 (Today's date).

I am seeking an individual breakdown of each case and a summary as to why the serving member has been suspended or removed from their duties on these dates.

Under Section 11 of the Mental Health Act 2001, there is an explicit statutory protocol for 'mandatory disclose of previous application for involuntary admission.'
Does this mandatory disclosure directive {Section 11} apply to every instance of involuntary admission, for all Gardai and attending general practitioners?
What is the precise nature of the legal sanction incurred for failing to comply with this statutory directive of mandatory disclosure?
Has this legal sanction ever been applied for failure to comply with this directive; and on how many previous occasions, from the inception of the Mental Health Act 2001 - to date?

Under the Freedom of Information Acts I would like to request a full copy of the briefing material provided to Assistant Supt David Sheehan for his appearance before the Oireachtas Transport Committee on June 20th, 2018.

Under the FOI Act, can I get records of the following:
How much it cost An Garda to send officials to each of Donegal's islands during the recent 'Eighth Amendment' referendum.
It is my understanding that a Garda officer was sent to each of the islands where voters were registered.
Can I therefore find out:
How much it cost to have Garda officers on each of Donegal's islands?
How many officers were sent to each island?
What islands they were sent to?

Please supply me with a copy of the C.I.T manual (Criminal Investigation Techniques) under the Freedom of Information Act.

Please could you provide me with the following information for each financial year from April 21st 2008, or from the first year it is available:

The number of reports of offences of a sexual nature alleged to have occurred in:
1.Mixed-sex (unisex / gender-neutral) spaces; and
2.Female sex-segregated spaces.

If you were able to break these down by categories of offence (rape, sexual assault, exposure, etc) that would be helpful but I realise that may not be achievable.

I would like to be given a numerical figure for the number of reports of historic abuse received by the Gardai nationwide, broken down by calendar month for 2017 and 2018, up to and including September.

I am requesting that any information relating to the number of people who have reported to An Garda Siochana, to have been ‘spiked’ or unknowingly drugged through drugs or alcoholic substances put unknowingly into their drink by someone else, in the last 10 years.
In addition to that I am requesting information regarding the number of arrests that have been made by An Garda Siochana for drink spiking in the last 10 years.

I request the information for the years 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2013.

1. How many members of An Garda Siochana are currently trained/qualified to train members of the Roads Policing Unit in the use of speed detection devices?

2. If there are none, when did they cease to be available and was this through retirement or resignation?

3. If there are none, when is it envisaged to recruit or employ them?

4. When was the last time any training in the use of speed detection devices was given to any member of any Roads Policing Unit?

This FOI is partly by way of a follow up to a request submitted earlier this year relating to a press release issued by the Garda Press Office on the 1st May (2018). 

In that press release and photograph, there was a range of vehicles photographed and reference was made to 87 Gardai who were appointed to the Roads Policing Unit.

I make the following request for records under the Freedom of Information Act 2014 as CBD training is a human resources issue.

In relation to the 87 Gardai in Roads Policing referred to in that press release:
1. How many had CBD1 assessment to drive a patrol car on the day of appointment to the Roads Policing Unit?
2. How many had CBD2 qualification to drive a patrol car on the day of appointment to the Roads Policing Unit i.e. can use their blue lights?
3. How many had CBD3 qualification to drive a patrol car on the day of  appointment to the Roads Policing Unit i.e. passed the advanced driving  course?
4. How many Garda involved in front line policing e.g. in Roads Policing or one of the armed response units, have been trained to drive the Tuscon jeep model that is in the photograph?
5. Finally how many frontline members of An Garda Siochana i.e. excluding civilian staff, do not have any CBD training?  This question refers to the entire membership of AGS and is not restricted to those in the press release.

Under the FOI act 2014 I request the following information:
- The number of secondary school pupils caught playing truant by gardaí
- The number of parents prosecuted for children’s truancy
- A breakdown by county

please provide information as to the number of times in the first nine months of this year (2018) when a homeless family, or a homeless person, has been accommodated at a Garda station. Please, where possible, provide details as to the size of the family in question, any occasions where they stayed at a Garda station for a number of nights consecutively or were repeat visitors. Please provide copies of any correspondence between an Garda Siochana - either at national or local/regional/station level - with the relevant housing bodies (local authority/DRHE/Emergency placement line etc) in that period with regard to families that have come to the attention of gardai in this way in that period. Please provide any details for the same nine month period as to the number of referrals made by Gardai to Tusla with regard to families living in emergency accommodation/who are homeless. Finally, please provide information as to any rise or fall in the number of these referrals in this six month period compared with any comparable data for previous six monthly periods.
