Please can you provide a breakdown of the type of FCPNs, charges and summonses such as speeding, holding a mobile phone while driving, dangerous overtaking etc.

Please can you conduct a search for data from 1 January 2019 to 27 March 2024, or a date range as close to this range as possible.

Please can you indicate the revenue collected on foot of the FCPNs and court outcomes and the total number of penalty points endorsed on licenses during the period
2. Please can you also provide a copy of information relation to collisions along the N17 between Knock and Ballindine, including:
• The number of collisions recorded
• A breakdown of the status of each collision (material damage only, potential injury recorded, fatality recorded etc.)
• If a driving offence was suspected in the collision, and if so, the type of offence.
• Total number of fatalities
• Total number of injuries
3. Please can you provide information relating to the number of speed checks carried out by Garda members or by GoSafe or other personnel during the date range in question.
4. Please can you provide information relating to the number of checkpoints including MAT/MIT checkpoints conducted on the N17 between Knock and Ballindine and the number of arrests and vehicle seizures on foot of these checkpoints.
5. Please can you provide copy of any information transferred from An Garda Síochána to the Road Safety Authority in relation to road traffic policing, road traffic collision and road traffic collision and road traffic offences relating to the N17 road.

To confirm, the date range for all enquires is from 1 January 2019 to 27 March 2024, or a date range as close to this range as possible.

Can you provide the overall amount received by Gardai in retirement lump sum payments in 2023 and in 2022.

Can you provide the top 20 amounts received by Gardai in 2023 in retirement lump sums and the county in which they operated and their rank?

Can you state how many Gardai last year received lump sum payments last year.

Can you state the rank of those who retired last year?

e.g. Four Chief Superintendents - eight Superintendents, 22 inspectors etc

The amount paid out in pensions last year to Gardai who have retired over the years and the number of former Gardai in receipt of pensions.

I am seeking the following under the Freedom of Information Act -

Gardai

The overall amount received by Gardai in overtime payments for 2023.

The top 20 amounts received by Gardai in 2023 in overtime payments and the gender, rank and division of the Gardai in each case

The total combined pay to each of those 20 Garda made during 2023 in overtime/basic pay/allowance and other payments.

3. I now wish to make the following FOI request to An Garda Siochana, please -

'...For each of the past three full accounting years, 2021, 2022 and 2023, annually, the number of cases and the total amount involved, where the Accounting Officer of An Garda Siochana wrote off pay/expenses overpayment debts...' This data being in the situation, that, based on FOI information provided to me re DEASP, that, annually, the DEASP recovers only approx. some 55% of pay/expenses overpayments... and likely that recovery of such order of magnitude is typical across public sector organisations... '

4. The AGS Policy Document also states (on page 8), as follows;

'...An Garda Síochána does not have the discretion or authorisation to write off any overpayment ...

Patently, from DPER released records, the above in AGS Policy Document and in other like documents seem grossly incorrect, seems in breach of Public Financial Procedures and also perhaps includes unlawful statements.

Therefore, under FOI, I also seek all records with AGS in relation to An Garda Siochana not having the discretion or authorisation to write off any overpayment (of pay/expenses); especially given the DPER position (in the attached DPER record of 22/03/2017) and also the provisions in 'DPER Public Sector Guidelines & Principles concerning Debt Management' and in 'Public Financial Procedures'

Will you supply me with the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2014

1) A full list of events within DMR where Gardai were requested to police that the event. The amount that An Garda Siochana charged event organiser for policing their event. I'm looking for the information for the period of 1st June 2023 to 30th June 2024. I'm only looking for policing event where the policing costs were in excess of €1,500. To be further assistant what I mean as events eg Concerts, Sporting fixtures etc

I am looking to see if there is any figures on the garda compensation scheme since April 2023.
1. would there be latest figures on numbers of compensation and amount
2. Would there be a breakdown on the reasons for compensation sought.
3. Would there be a gender breakdown on the people seeking compensation.

Under the FOI Act 2014, I am seeking the following:
- a database/spreadsheet/record of the cost of the ten most expensive events policed by An Garda Siochana in the most recent twelve month period for which data is available, both in terms of the non-public duty services provided by Gardai and paid for by the host organisations, as well as the cost of associated policing duties performed outside these events that would be deemed additional to those normally performed at the location are not paid by the organisation hosting the event.
- a database/spreadsheet/record of the monies recouped by An Garda Síochána for policing services at each of these ten events.
- a record of how much money AGS has recouped for policing all types of such events in the period above, with a list of the top five organisations that have paid for such services and how much e.g. the GAA, the FAI, MCD, etc.
I would prefer to receive this information electronically, ideally in its original electronic format.

Under FOI law, I would like to receive copies of the following records:

1. Records showing the annual spend, broken down by payments to each consultancy firm, made by AGS to firms working on revising and creating the new Garda Operating Model in liaison with the Strategic Transformation Office.
I would like to receive a breakdown showing the annual payments made for this work for each year from 2012 to September 19, 2024.

2. In this same timeframe, I would like to receive copies of any garda records relating to negotiations of costs, the setting of day rates and the overall costs of hiring consultants to work and advise on the Garda Operating Model.
3. In this same timeframe, I would like to receive copies of any garda records relating to the amount of work carried out by these consultants in each year they were employed to work on the Garda Operating Model.
4. I would also like to receive any garda records relating to the oversight and management of the costs of reviewing the Garda Operating Model, specifically any documents or correspondence relating to when the project will complete.

I understand that Grant Thornton, Accenture and Deloitte are among the consultants that have been employed to work on this project.

I believe there is a strong public interest in there being transparency over the use of public monies on this project over the last 10 to 12 years so the records should be released under FOI.
