Static Speed Safety Camera Operational on N69 from Friday, 14th March 2025

The Static Speed Safety Camera in place on the N69 Ballyhomin, Askeaton, Co. Limerick will commence operation from Friday 14th March 2025.   Vehicles detected driving in excess of the 100km/h posted speed limit will be subject to prosecution from 12 midday Friday 14th March 2025.

Prosecution of speeding offences takes place by Fixed Charge Notice. The current Fixed Charge Notice is a €160 fine accompanied by 3 penalty points. Further details of the Fixed Charge Notice system are published on the Garda website.
