Gardaí from the Dublin Metropolitan Region South Central Drugs Unit stopped and searched a vehicle in the Dublin 2 area yesterday, Wednesday 19th March 2025.
Over €87,000 of suspected cocaine (some of which was packaged in the form of sweets) was seized, along with drugs paraphernalia.
The drugs seized are now subject to analysis.
Two men, aged 30s and 50s, were arrested during the course of the search, and conveyed to a Garda Station in the Dublin region. Both men have been charged and are due appear at the evening sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice Dublin this evening, Thursday 20th March 2025.
Investigations are ongoing.
