Gardaí have seized approximately €157,000 of controlled drugs and arrested a man following an operation in Dublin 1 yesterday, Thursday 30th January 2025.
Gardaí from the DMR North Central Divisional Drugs Unit carried out a search of a house. During the course of this search approximately €100,000 of cannabis and €57,000 crack cocaine was seized.
The drugs seized have been sent for further analysis.
A man, aged in his 40s, was arrested and detained at a Garda Station in Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1996. He has been charged and will appear before Court 4 of the Criminal Courts of Justice later this afternoon, Friday 31st January 2025.
Investigations are ongoing.
