Man Arrested Following €360,000 Cannabis Seizure by Revenue Customs at Dublin Airport, 12th January 2025

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 60s following a seizure of drugs at Dublin Airport on Sunday, 12th January 2025.

Approximately €360,000 worth of cannabis herb was seized by Customs Officers following the search of a man at Dublin Airport this morning.

The man, aged in his 60s, was arrested by An Garda Síochána and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in the Dublin Region. He remains in Garda custody.

 

The drugs seized will be forwarded to FSI for analysis.

Investigations are ongoing.
