Gardaí Arrest Man Following €268,000 Cannabis Seizure at Rosslare Europort - 17th January 2025

Gardaí have arrested a man following the seizure of cannabis worth €268,000 at Rosslare Europort by Revenue Officers on Friday, 17th January 2025.

The drugs were discovered when an accompanied freight unit that had disembarked a ferry from Dunkirk, France was stopped and searched.

A man in his 20s was subsequently arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained at a Garda Station in County Wexford under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.
