Update - Arrests, Shooting Incident, Delgany, County Wicklow, Thursday 14th December 2023

Gardaí investigating a shooting incident and assault that occurred in Delgany, County Wicklow on Thursday 14th December 2023, have arrested three people this morning, Monday 9th September 2024.

Two men and a woman, all aged in their 30s, were arrested on suspicion of alleged offences of Enhancing the Capability of a Criminal Organisation to Commit a Serious Offence contrary to Section 72 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2006.

All three are detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 at Garda Stations in the Wicklow Region.
