Gardaí have arrested a man as part of a joint operation with Revenue officers earlier today, Monday 30th, September 2024.
Personnel from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the K District Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service carried out a search of a residence in West Dublin.
Approximately 6.8kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €136,000 was seized. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained at a Dublin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
