Gardaí are continuing to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the death of a male in his late 40s following an incident in Lucan, Co. Dublin.

The scene remains preserved and the body has been removed to the Dublin City Mortuary.

A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.

The man (20s) who was arrested remains in Garda custody at this time. Investigations are ongoing.
