Two arrests following public order incident in Tuam, Co Galway on 25th October, 2024

Gardaí investigating a public order incident in Tuam, Co. Galway on Friday, 25th October, 2024, have charged two men.

Gardaí received reports of an incident at Abbey Trinity at around 2.15pm on that date. Two men (aged in their 20s) were arrested and held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

They were subsequently charged and will appear before Tuam District Court next month.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward.

Any road users or pedestrians who were in the area between 2pm and 3pm on that date and may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make it available.
