As part of ongoing investigations targeting street-level criminal activity in the north Dublin area, Gardaí from the Drugs Unit based at Coolock Garda Station conducted a search of a residential property in Priorswood under warrant on Wednesday, 23rd October, 2024.
During the search, Gardaí discovered cocaine valued at over €30,000, cannabis worth €1,500 (analysis pending) and cash totaling €1,550. A significant quantity of fireworks was also seized, along with drug paraphernalia, including scales, deal bags and various chemical agents.
A 20-year-old male was arrested at the scene and detained at a Garda station in the Dublin Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He has been charged and is set to appear before Dublin District Court next month.
The drugs seized will be forwarded to FSI for analysis.
Investigations are ongoing.
