Gardaí at Tullamore continue to investigate a single-vehicle collision, involving a car, on the L2007 (Rahan Road) at Ballykeenaghan which occurred at approximately 9:00am on Thursday 14th November 2024
The driver of the car, a man aged in his 40s, seriously injured in the collision was pronounced deceased at Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, last night.
The local Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.
Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 8:15am and 9:15am are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
