Two Arrests - Suspected Insider Trading Investigation - 15th November 2024

Gardaí attached the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau arrested two men earlier today, Friday, 15th November 2024 as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected insider trading.

Both men are currently detained at a Garda Station in Dublin under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The investigation was launched after An Garda Síochána was alerted to a number of transactions by the Central Bank of Ireland.

As this is an ongoing criminal investigation, a Garda spokesperson is not available.
