Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a public order and reckless endangerment incident which occurred on Hyde Road, Limerick on Tuesday 30th April 2024.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:15pm and involved an altercation between a number of individuals on Hyde Road. Following this altercation, a man was struck by a vehicle on Hyde Road, which failed to remain at the scene.
This man presented to University Hospital Limerick to be treated for injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
No other injuries have been reported.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward, especially those who were present in the Hyde Road area between 5:00pm and 5:30pm and observed a Grey Nissan Qashqai in the vicinity.
Additionally, road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
