Update - Fatal Assault of a Male, Dublin, 6th - 7th January 2024

Gardaí in Crumlin are continuing to investigate a fatal assault on a man in his 30s that is understood to have occurred sometime between Saturday 6th January 2024 and the early hours of Sunday 7th January 2024 in Dublin.

The man in his 30s was discovered at approximately 3am on Sunday 7th January 2024 with serious injuries at an apartment in Lucan, County Dublin. He was later pronounced deceased at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.

Two women in their 40s and a man in his 30s were arrested today (Thursday 30th May 2024) as part of this investigation. They are currently being detained at a number of Garda Stations in the Dublin region under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

This investigation is continuing from an Incident Room at Crumlin Garda Station under the direction of a Senior Investigating Officer (SIO). A Garda Family Liaison Officer (FLO) continues to keep the deceased's family informed of developments.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal to the public for information in relation to this incident.
