Gardaí in Blanchardstown are investigating a serious assault on a woman that occurred outside a residence in the Waterville area of Dublin 15 shortly before 9pm on Friday 10th May 2024.
A woman in her 40s was taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, where her condition is currently described as stable.
A man in his 30s was arrested as part of this investigation and detained at a Garda Station in the Dublin Region under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He has since been charged and will appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning (Wednesday 15th May 2024) at 10:30am.
