Court Appearance – Discovery of a Pipe Bomb in Finglas, Dublin, April 30th, 2024

While conducting anti-crime patrols in the Finglas area in the early hours of Tuesday, April 30th, Gardaí attached to Finglas Station apprehended a male in his 40s and recovered a suspected pipe bomb.

The man was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda Station in the Dublin Region and has since been charged in connection with the case.

He is scheduled to appear before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court this morning, May 2nd, 2024, at 10:30 am.
