Gardaí in Longford seized a number of offensive weapons following the search of a vehicle in Co Longford at approximately 11:45pm on the night of Sunday 12th May, 2024.
Gardaí stopped and conducted a search of the car on the Athlone Road, Ballymahon, Longford.
Two men (aged in their 20s) and a male juvenile were arrested at the scene and were detained at a Garda Station in Co Longford under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act, 1984 in relation to the seizure.
All three males have since been charged and are due to appear before Longford District Court tomorrow morning Tuesday 14th May, 2024 at 10.30am.
