Arrest: Fatal Assault, Knockanure, Co. Kerry. 27th May, 2024.

Gardaí continue to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the death of a man, aged in his 40s which occurred following an incident in Knockanure, Co. Kerry, in the early hours of this morning, Monday 27th May 2024.

A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested this afternoon in connection with this investigation and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in the Kerry Division.

The man, aged in his 30s, arrested earlier this morning remains in Garda custody at this time.
