€1 Million Suspected Cannabis Seized, Ashbourne, Co. Meath, 16th May 2024

Gardaí in Ashbourne seized an estimated €1 million worth of suspected cannabis on Thursday afternoon, 16th May 2024. The drugs were recovered at a warehouse in Ashbourne by Gardaí attached to the Meath South Task Force with assistance from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Revenue Customs Service.

The suspected cannabis (pending analysis) was discovered in vaccuum packed bags. The drugs are now subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).

No arrests have been made in relation to this investigation, at this time.
