Gardaí have charged a man who was arrested yesterday, Friday 29th March 2024, following the robbery of a retail premises in Cabinteely, Dublin 18.
The incident occurred at approximately 2.15pm at a premises on the Johnstown Road. The male suspect entered the premises and threatened staff. He fled the scene on foot and was arrested by Gardaí a short distance away.
The man (aged in his 40s) was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda station in South Dublin.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice (Court 2) this afternoon, Saturday 30th March 2024, at 4.00pm.
