Gardaí have arrested two men following an incident of theft from a supermarket in Kilbarrack, Dublin 5, yesterday, Tuesday 12th March 2024.
Two men entered the supermarket and made threats to members of staff whilst removing a number of items from the premises.
Both men were arrested by Gardaí and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in North Dublin.
One man, aged in his 40s, has been charged and is due to appear before Court 1 of the CCJ this morning, 13th March 2024.
A second man, aged in his 40s, remains in custody.
Investigations into this matter are ongoing.
