Witness Appeal - Aggravated Burglary, Carlingford, Co. Louth, Sunday 23rd June 2024

Gardaí are appealing for information in relation to an aggravated burglary which occurred at a residence in Gyles Quay in Carlingford, Co.Louth on Sunday afternoon, 23rd June 2024 at 2.45pm.
 
During the incident a male entered the property with a knife. The man was arrested by Gardaí after fleeing the property.
 
The man, aged in his 30s, has been charged and appeared before Drogheda District Court on Monday morning, 24th June 2024.
 
Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information on this incident to come forward. In particular, Gardaí are keen to speak with persons who may have seen a white BMW Jeep in the Gyles Quay area between 2pm – 3pm on Sunday afternoon, 23rd June 2024.

Anyone who has camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make this available to Gardaí.
