Gardaí investigating the circumstances around the suspected fatal assault on Padraig O’Connor, in Castleisland, Co. Kerry, on Friday 28th June 2024 have charged a man.
The man in his 40s, who was arrested as part of this investigation, is due to appear before a special sitting of Killarney District Court this evening, Saturday 29th June 2024, at approximately 8.30pm (not 9pm as per previous release).
Gardaí continue to appeal to anyone who has any information on the murder of Padraig O’Connor to contact Tralee Garda Station on 066 710 2300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
Investigations are ongoing.
