Gardaí have seized an estimated €65,000 worth of cannabis herb and arrested a man following a joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, Tipperary Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue.
The operation was carried out on Friday, 7th June 2024, with a search conducted at a property in Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Over 3kg of cannabis was located at the location along with drug paraphernalia (pending analysis).
A man aged in his 20s was arrested at the scene by Gardaí and detained at a Tipperary Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking Act) 1996.
He was later charged and will appear before the Courts at a later date.
