Man Arrested and Charged in Connection with a Number of Robberies in Limerick City in June 2024

Gardaí have arrested and charged a man as part of investigations into three robberies that occurred in Limerick city in June 2024.

The incidents, which all occurred at retail premises, occurred at Wickham Street on Saturday 8th June 2024, Roches Street on Monday 10th June 2024 and the Ballinacurra Road on Thursday 13th June 2024.

Following extensive Garda enquiries, a man in his 30s was arrested on Wednesday 19th June 2024 in connection with these incidents and detained at a Garda Station in Limerick city under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

He has since been charged and is expected to appear before Limerick District Court at 10:30am this morning (Thursday 20th June 2024).
