Witness Appeal - Discharge of a Firearm, Hyde Avenue, Limerick, 21st July 2024

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a shooting incident at Hyde Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston, Co. Limerick on 21st of July 2024.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:45pm when a firearm was discharged in the direction of a parked car on Hyde Avenue.

No injuries have been reported.

The suspected offender fled the scene in a silver Nissan Maxima.

No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information on this incident to contact them. In particular, anyone who was in the Hyde Avenue or Ballinacurra Weston area between 7.30pm – 8pm.  Any road who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this available.
