Gardaí in Tallaght investigating the fatal assault of a man (20s) in the Drumcairn Estate, Tallaght, Dublin 24, on Friday 26th July 2024 have arrested a second individual.
A female (30s) was arrested for alleged offences in connection with this investigation and is currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, at a Dublin Garda Station.
The male (30s) arrested yesterday remains in Garda custody at this time.
A post-mortem examination of the deceased was completed yesterday, the results of which are not being released for operational reasons.
Investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward, particularly those who were in the Drumcairn Estate area of Tallaght, Dublin 24, between 3am and 4am on Friday 26th July 2024.
Additionally, individuals with video recordings, including motorists with dash cam footage, from the area within the timeframe are asked to provide this footage to investigating Gardaí.
