As part ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of controlled drugs and related crime in the West Dublin area, Gardaí attached to the Serious Crime South Drugs Unit in Clondalkin & Ballyfermot conducted an intelligence-led operation on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024.
During the operation, a residential property in Ballyfermot was searched. Quantities of tablets, along with cocaine, heroin, and cannabis, were seized.
The seized drugs have an estimated value in excess of €380,000, pending analysis. A male in his 30s was arrested and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at a Garda Station in the Dublin Region.
The investigation is ongoing.
