Court Appearance - €990,000 Cannabis Seizure, Dublin Airport, 9th July 2024

Gardaí arrested a man in his 30s at Dublin Airport following a cannabis seizure by Revenue Officers on Tuesday 9th July 2024.

49.5kgs of herbal cannabis valued at approximately €990,000 was seized.

The man was detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a North Dublin Garda Station.

He has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice (CCJ), Court No. 4, in Dublin this morning, Wednesday 10th July 2024, at approximately 10.30am.

Investigations are ongoing.
