Gardaí have charged a man following an investigation into two robberies in Cork city on Monday, 22nd January 2024.
The incidents occurred at two separate business premises on Monday morning. A quantity of cash was stolen by the suspected offender.
Following enquiries by investigating Gardaí, a male (aged in his 30s) was arrested on Wednesday 24th January 2024. He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in Cork.
He has since been charged in relation to this investigation and is due to appear before Cork City District Court this morning, Friday 26th January 2024 at 10.30am.
Investigations are ongoing.
