Update - GNDOCB Seize €3 Million Worth of Drugs under Operation Tara, 22nd February 2024

Gardaí attached to the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) continue to question 3 males arrested and detained in relation to the seizure of cannabis, MDMA, cocaine, ecstasy tablets and cannabis jellies yesterday.

It is now estimated that the street value of contraband seized is €3 million, subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).

The three males (aged 35, 40 and 53 years) continue to be detained, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2 of Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at a Garda station in Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing.
