Gardaí in Glanmire are renewing their appeal to the public for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Glanmire, County Cork, on Sunday, 11th February 2024.
Shortly after 7:45pm on Sunday, 11th February 2024, Gardaí and Emergency Services responded to reports of a single vehicle collision at Sarsfield Court in Glanmire.
One of the two occupants in the vehicle, a woman aged in her 50s, was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment of serious injuries. She was pronounced deceased at Cork University Hospital on Tuesday, 13th February 2024.
The second occupant of the vehicle, a woman aged in her 40s, also received treatment for non-life threatening injuries following the collision.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact them.
Any road users or pedestrians who were in the vicinity of Sarsfield Court, and who observed a white SUV vehicle travelling in the area at the time of the incident, is asked to contact investigating Gardaí. Anyone with camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
