Man Arrested and €612,000 Cannabis Seized by Revenue at Dublin Airport – 28th February 2024

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 30’s following a €612,000 cannabis seizure made by Revenue officers at Dublin Airport yesterday, Wednesday 28th February 2024.

Approximately 30 kg of herbal cannabis was discovered when Revenue officers searched the baggage of a passenger who had disembarked a flight.

The man (30's) was arrested and detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin.  He has since been charged and appeared before the CCJ Dublin this morning, Thursday 29th February 2024.

Investigations are ongoing.
