An Garda Síochána and Revenue Customs Seize €80,000 worth of Herbal Cannabis in Cork City – 2nd December 2024

In the course of a joint operation in Cork City on Monday, 2nd December 2024, Revenue Customs Service, Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the Cork Divisional Drugs Unit seized approximately 4 kilograms of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €80,000 (analysis pending).

A man in his 30s was arrested by An Garda Síochána in connection with the seizure and is currently detained at a Garda Station in Cork City under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
