Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an incident of assault which occurred on St Stephens Green West in the early hours of Monday 5th August 2024.
The incident occurred near the junction of St Stephen’s Green and Harcourt Street at approximately 1:00am.
A man, aged in his 30s, was taken to St James’s Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
As part of this investigation, Gardaí have arrested a man aged in his 30s. He has been charged and appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning, Tuesday 6th August 2024.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact them.
Any road users or pedestrians who were in the St Stephen’s Green West area between 12:45am and 1:30am and have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
