Update: Witness Appeal - Fire at Premises in Longford, Sunday, 28th July 2024

Gardaí continue to investigate all the circumstances surrounding a fire at a premises in Longford town in the early hours of Sunday, 28th July 2024.

A male, aged in his 50’s, has been arrested in connection with this investigation today, Thursday 8th August 2024, and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in the Co. Longford area.

Investigations are ongoing.
