Update - Operation Tara – Drugs Seizures and Arrests Limerick , 31st July and 1st August 2024

As part of this ongoing investigation, a further search was conducted today, Thursday, 1st August 2024, at a residential property in the St. Mary’s Park area of Limerick. Quantities of cocaine, cannabis, and heroin with a combined value exceeding €220,000 (analysis pending) were seized.

A woman in her 50s was arrested and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act at a Garda Station in Limerick.

Investigations are ongoing.
