Renewed Witness Appeal – Fatal Road Traffic Collision – Drominboy, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick, 30th July 2024

Gardaí are issuing a renewed appeal for witnesses following a fatal single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a car, which occurred on the R503 at Drominboy, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick, on Tuesday 30th July 2024 at approximately 8.40pm.

The male driver and female passenger of the car (both aged in their 20’s) were conveyed to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.

The female passenger of the car was receiving treatment at Cork University Hospital. She passed away from her injuries on Sunday 11th August 2024.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward.

Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were traveling on the R503 road near Lisngry, Co. Limerick, on Tuesday 30th July 2024, between 7.45pm and 8.45pm, are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
